During her exchange, she completed a research project and received the highest possible undergraduate dissertation grade available in the UK, an A+.

Additionally, she actively participated in scientific research, completing multiple projects, including studies on the effects of COVID-19 infection and environmental pollutants on assisted reproduction, as well as the discovery of a novel TRIP13 gene mutation. These achievements demonstrate her serious research capabilities and profound medical expertise.

"Passing the torch to uphold our original aspiration, setting an example to write a new chapter." With her dedication, Liu Yuxin embodies the college motto "Inheriting noble medical ethics and excellence, aiming for world-class standards, gathering elite talents from China and abroad, and nurturing future medical leaders." Furthermore, she sets a excellent example for incoming students at Queen Mary College. It is our hope that future students at Queen Mary School will draw inspiration from her example, and will successfully navigate the long journey of scientific research with the steady accumulation of skills and knowledge, and thus effectively interpret the mission of healers through tangible actions. The school will continue to build on its strengths, enhancing its international educational standards and cultivating more high-caliber medical professionals with a global perspective, contributing to the university’s "Double First-Class" initiative.
