Great Success : 5 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals Won by Our Teams

With 9.56 million participants from 4347 universities/colleges all over the world, the 7th China International College Students Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held at Nanchang University from October 12th through 15th.

As students in the joint programme of our school also registered with Queen Mary University of London, they formed teams on behalf of the Queen Mary University to participate in the competition through the international route. After having worked very hard day and night with brainstorming and unremitting practice, the students from our school finally won 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals in total.  Moreover, the project from a team including three Queen Mary students successfully entered into the Finals of the Competition and won the third prize.

Due to the advantages of international education background, our school always emphasizes cultivation of students abilities of innovation and entrepreneurship, which, as a result, has inspired many students to actively be engaged in this great event. Among 5 projects in the gold medal competition, 4 were led by students of our school with 37 core members.


The full support from teachers of Queen Mary School gave us endless courage to go on, Pu Changqin, a gold medal winner said.

The 7th China College Students Internet + Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has successfully come to an end, but the mission of school in cultivation of students’ ability of innovation will never stop. Our school not only strives to create environment for students to learn well essential elements of medicine, but also help them develop international vision and independent characters and encourage them to grow up along the road of innovation and entrepreneurship. The theme of “courage to break through has been deeply implanted in their mind. The students keep “The future is coming, the future belongs to us” in mind. With the commitment to moving forward, we strive to provide students excellent conditions to grow, such that they can make important contributions to clinical medicine and basic medical sciences.
