National Scholarship Recipients of Queen Mary School Showcase

Chen Ma

Personal Profile:

Student of class 2020, ranked in the top 2% of her major, was recommended for direct admission to Peking Union Medical College. She has published 2 SCI papers as the first author and hosted 1 national innovation and entrepreneurship project for university students. She has been awarded the Special Scholarship of Nanchang University, the Joint Programme Scholarship I, and the ‘Merit Students Pioneer’ of Nanchang University.

Insights and Experiences:

Yufei Wang

Personal Profile:

Student of class 2020, was recommended for direct admission to Peking Union Medical College. During her undergraduate years, she has published 3 SCI papers. She has won several provincial gold medals in English competitions such as the National English Competition for College Students and Yanxing Cup. In the 8^th China International College Students “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the projects she participated in won two bronze medals at the national level, and applied for two invention patents. She won the School Special Scholarship for three consecutive years, and the Sino-British Joint Program Scholarship II for two consecutive years.

Yufan Wang

Personal Profile: 

     Student of class 2020, ranked in the top 5% of the year in his major, was recommended for direct admission to Zhejiang University. During his school years, he served as the vice president of the student union of the college, and won the special scholarship of the school for several times, and was awarded the scholarship of the joint programme for two consecutive years in the I category. During his undergraduate years, he published three SCI papers as the first author, including one Top review in Region I and one experimental paper in Region II. In the 8th and 9th China International College Students “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the participating projects won two national awards.

Yiwei Zhang

Personal Profile:

Student of class 2021, ranked in the top 4% of his major, won the school's special scholarship for three consecutive years, and was awarded the title of ‘three good students’. He won the first prize of the National English Competition for College Students, the second prize of National Medical English Vocabulary Competition, and a number of school-level awards. During his undergraduate years, he has published 4 SCI papers. In the 2023 China International Student Innovation Competition, the participating projects won the national silver and bronze awards.
