Exciting News! Four students from Queen Mary School won the National Scholarship!

The selection results of the National Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year have been announced. Four students from our college—Fan Xuhang, Hu Kaiheng, Zhao Chenxi and Jiang Ruiyin—have won the National Scholarship with their outstanding performance. Fan Xuhang

Year of Enrollment: 2022

Personal Profile: She ranks among the top 2% in her major grade. She has won the University Special-class Scholarship and the honorary title of "Model Triple-A Student" for two consecutive years. During her undergraduate studies, she published four papers and obtained one invention patent. Besides, she has won many awards such as the first prize at the national level in the National College Students' Life Sciences Competition and the bronze award at the national level in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition. She also has outstanding sports skills, winning the third place in the National College Students' Tennis Championship and three consecutive championships in the women's singles tennis event at the university sports meeting.

Student voice: “The all-English teaching environment and international scientific research platform of the college have opened the door for me to explore medical science. Hu Kaiheng

Year of Enrollment: 2021

Personal Profile: He is a probationary member of the Communist Party of China and ranks among the top 3% in his major grade. He has been admitted to Tsinghua University as a direct doctoral student. During his undergraduate studies, he has published two SCI papers. He has successively won two national bronze awards in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition (2023 & 2024) and applied for one national invention patent. He has also obtained honors such as Nanchang University Special-class Scholarship, Class I Scholarship of China-UK Joint Program, and "Model Triple-A Student" of Nanchang University.

Zhao Chenxi

Year of Enrollment: 2022

Personal Profile: Her GPA ranks among the top 2% in her grade. She has published one SCI paper and has two papers under submission. She has won a total of five national awards, six provincial awards, and more than 20 university-level and above awards. These include the national bronze award in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, the national second prize in the Cross-cultural Competence Competition, as well as honors such as the University Special-class Scholarship, "Triple-A Student" and Class I Scholarship of the Joint Programme.

Jiang Ruiyin

Year of Enrollment: 2021

Personal Profile: She ranks among the top 1% in her major grade and has been admitted to West China School of Clinical Medicine, Sichuan University. In her junior year, she went to the UK for an exchange study for one year and carried out basic research in the Blizard Institute. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in publishing two SCI papers. In the National Forum on Basic Medical Innovation Research and Experimental Design for College Students, the project she participated in won the national silver award. In the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, she won two national bronze awards as the first person in charge. She has also won honors such as the University Special-class Scholarship and "Model Triple-A Student" of the university for many times.
