Mr. Pu Changqing Wons the Honor of Student of the Year

To encourage students to pursue excellence in academics, innovation and morality, the school sets the title: Student of the Year.  Every year, one student is selected for this honor for outstanding performance and influence on the reputation of school and joint programme.  This year, Mr. Pu Changqin was awarded “Student of the Year“.

He has served as a Chinese representative at the 22nd United Nations Youth Assembly, as well as a student representative for the an International Research Internship Programme. He was the only Chinese candidate invited to the 2022 GapSummit, a global biotechnology youth leadership summit, and awarded the first runner of the international event GapSummit global biotechnology competition and finally won the Silver Medal. Changqing made an international recognition of our joint programme.

Changqin also acted as a project leader to participate in the 7th and 8th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and won gold medals twice in the international route.  In addition, he won the National First Prize in the 2021 National College Student Biochemistry Competition, the National Second Prize in the 2021 Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press National College Student English Speech Contest, and the "Taihao Star - Outstanding College Student" Scholarship in 2021 with the highest score in the school's defense. Not only has he stood out in various national and world competitions, but Pu Changqin also has a high level of scientific research literacy, having published 5 SCI papers. Stepping forward without fear, Pu Changqin is undoubtedly a model of an outstanding student, and his outstanding achievements will surely inspire a wide range of students to strive for continuous improvement and to work hard towards their goals.
