Dreams Pursuers and Glory Strivers: Great success achieved in “internet+” competition

Recently, the 8th China International College Students’ “Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in Chongqing. With excellent innovation and practice ability, our students have made remarkable achievements.

With wide coverage, high levels of participation and significant influence, the China International College students’ "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition  attracts many young students from all over the country to participate every year. The teams of Nanchang University Queen Mary School have made great success many times in the competition due to the strength of international education background.

As early as in the semifinal of the College Students’ "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Nanchang, which ended in early September, the students of Nanchang University Queen Mary School have already shown their talents and competitiveness. Among the 4 projects led by Nanchang University that advanced to the national Championship, three of them were led by the students of our school, including: MEDELEC Arthritis Rehabilitation —— Intelligent wearable therapy equipment for arthritis rehabilitation, Cranial Nano-Magnetic Detection —— Leadership of Rapid and Accurate Detection of Intracranial Infection, and BEIDOU-Clotho：Disaster Information Transmission System Based on Beidou Satellite System. In addition, the group project Haina skin project -- leading the new navigation standard of anti-wrinkle products led by our students also won the gold medal in the Provincial Competition of Undergraduate Group in the main track.

In the following national finals held in Chongqing, our students won 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals, including 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal on the international track and another silver medal on the main track. It is worth mentioning that in this "Internet+" competition, Nanchang University won a total of 2 gold and 3 silver medals, among which 2 gold and 2 silver medals were pocketed by the students of the Queen Mary School.

Those who follow the light will eventually be bright. In just half a year, these excellent teams from our school went all the way from Nanchang to Chongqing, from the campus to the stage of national competitions. These outstanding achievements are not only based on the solid scientific and clinical knowledge of the students, but also benefits from the comprehensive training of the school allowing students to improve professional skills and international vision. In future, the Queen Mary School will continue to support and encourage students to participate in various activities, cultivate students' ability of scientific research, innovation, cooperation and communication, and help every student to achieve a leap forward in pursuit of their dreams!
