Queen Mary School Showcased at the third China (Nanchang) International Comprehensive Health Industry Conference and Expo

To assist in implementing major decisions and arrangements for a healthier China strategy,the third China (Nanchang) International Comprehensive Health Industry Conference and Expo was held from June 13 to June 15. Nanchang University Queen Mary School showed off in the exhibition booth. The students built a health exhibition and interaction in the central region.

In the display area, the students showed the development and history of Queen Mary, shared information on the joint program for clinical medicine between Nanchang University and Queen Mary University of London. They also showed models adopted pertaining to management, customary activities, achievements by ongoing students andalumni as well as other relevant information.

During the conference, Mr. Ke Shi, vice governor of Jiangxi Province, and other dignitaries visited the exhibition stand of Queen Mary School for guidance and listened to the brief introduction regarding the Sino-British joint projects. He recognized the achievements and contributions of the program to cooperative medical education in Jiangxi.

The Joint Program is the first Sino-foreign cooperative education program in clinical medicine in China, aiming to cultivate a new generation of medical professionals in the new era where students excel in both research and clinical practice.

Since the first nationwide enrollment in 2013, the joint program has enrolled 11 cohorts, with 7 cohorts of graduates. In terms of postgraduate application, the acceptance rate in the first attempt reaches more than 60%, with many students furthering their education in the "Double First-Class" universities or prestigious medical institutions at home and abroad. The program has shown significant training results and outstanding student performance, cultivating a reserve force to implement a Healthy China strategy."
